What can you do on a low budget in the city? A lot, actually.
A polaroid taken inside of Brooklyn Industries.
My friends and I ventured to the Williamsburg establishment of Beacon’s Closet to sell some of our old clothes. Although they didn’t sell for much, we had fun milling around the streets.
I had always noticed that next to Beacon’s Closet sat an indoor skating park, but always passed it by because I had no interest in the sport. But with our Polaroid in tow, we thought it would be a great opportunity to take some pictures.
Heading back to Union Square, we made some unlikely friends who were filming a student project. They kindly asked us to participate, and who were we to turn our new friends down?
Lunch and dessert were devoured at a local favorite, The Grey Dog, where we multitasked eating peanut-butter cookies the size of records while simultaneously hipster spotting. In essence, the perfect ending to a grey Sunday!

I really like the picture of from brooklyn industries of the light(?)

Looks like so much fun! So jealous of Beacon's Closet, I wish we had one. My room would be a lot less full of clothes...
