I can’t help but smile at this shirt by Wildfox Couture. The shirt’s graphic is a list of 100 things to be happy about. And while some of the ones on the list are a little suspect (coyotes howling at night will never make my inner Nervous Nelly chill out and I also wouldn't considered palamino ponies in my top 100, but whatevz) the rest are so spot-on. The shirt is like a little reminder that we should appreciate the little things, however cliché that may sound. I wish I got to make this list because it’s like they tapped into my 16-year-old mind. The oh-so-supple "100 Things" shirt is available at Wildfox for $64 and comes in both black and white. Check it out here. In the meantime, here are some favorites from the list:
#8 Handwritten letters in the mail—nothing makes me happier than ripping open good ole fashioned snail mail. Bonus points if it has stickers on it!
#16 Clothes right out of the dryer—I want this to be a perfume because nothing smells better than clean clothes.
#17 Lemonade stands— I wish I could still pass for the age where I was little enough to have a lemonade stand and entice passerbyers with my childish charm. Because that is THE best way to make quick money. Maybe the tastiest, too.
#18 Running through a sprinkler—Naked. Just kidding.
#27 Crying from laughing too hard— YES HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA.
#29 Breakfast for dinner--- breakfast is so magical because it really IS appropriate any time of day.
#41 Getting flowers for no reason— there is always a reason for getting flowers. Maybe I want to feel like I’m sitting with Marie Antoinette in her garden. Maybe I want to be a flower child. Maybe I want to decorate my house like a craft magazine. It’s all so good!
#53 Game nights—Clue is my favorite board game as I’m a sucker for murder mysteries. Reading each character profile makes me giggle. No, but seriously, I will take you down in Clue.
#57 Running home barefoot—ahhhh, the feeling of squishy mud between my toes when I am barefoot!
#71 Old movies with glamorous stars—you can’t not be happy while watching Audrey Hepburn dazzle in movies like Funny Face.
#92 Drive-in movies—It just sounds so magical. Someone please take me, pretty please!
#99 Tie-dying stained clothing—This always makes me think of pilot episode of Lizzie McGuire when Lizzie and Gordo have a tie-dye fight/party in her backyard.
