About Emma Orlow // The Emma Edition

Emma Orlow is a teenager old born and raised in New York City. She writes for style sites/magazines such as PAPER Magazine, Refinery29, The Huffington Post , and BUST Magazine (you can view her writing portfolio here), and occasionally does other editorial work and brand consulting. The Emma Edition was started in February of 2009, because, at the time, there weren’t blogs about highlighting fashion, art, and culture in New York, written from the teenage perspective. 

Most recently, Emma co-founded the webseries, The Do Not Enter Diaries, devoted to telling the stories of teenagers and their bedrooms, which premiered online as of Jan. 2013, and has already been profiled by The New York Times,  NYLON, and Seventeen Magazine, among others. They currently have teen correspondents spanning from New Zealand to Slovakia who film themselves in their room and their friends'.
